Out of School Club Information

We run an out of school care scheme for all children who attend Oakdene School.  The Club is staffed by fully qualified members of staff at all times.

The Club is OFSTED registered and, therefore, if you use our facilites you are entitled to offset the cost with Childcare Vouchers.  The OFSTED number you will need for your form is available when you start using the Club.

There are many activities that the children undertake and you are welcome to pop in and have a look any time after school.  Children can start at the Out of School Club when they have completed their 2 weeks part time sessions in Recepion class.  This enables the children to settle into School and allows them to become familiar with the School before extending their day before and/or after School.

Our Breakfast Club runs from 7.45 a.m. to  8.55 a.m. each week day morning during term time.  The charge for this facility is £4.00 (arrival from 7.45 a.m.) or £3.50 (arrival from 7.55 a.m.) per session which includes  drink and cereal/toast.  All the children are escorted to the teacher on the playground at 8.45 a.m. and no child is left unsupervised at any time. Access to the Club is via the Out of School Club gate (with intercom) to the right of the main entrance to School.

Our After School Club runs from 3.15 p.m. to 5.45 p.m. each week day afternoon during term time.  There is a choice of times for Out of School Club:

3.15 p.m. – 5.00 p.m. is charged at  £6.00 per session

3.15 p.m. – 5.45 p.m. is charged at £7.00 per session

These prices are subject to change.

Both sessions include the children having a drink and a snack.

Bookings are handled through the school office.  Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have further questions or can't find what you need on our website.
