Everton Festival

6 children from our Year 5 class and 2 of our Year 4 class participated in a football tournament at Ruskin Drive. The 8 boys competed brilliantly and their behaviour was exemplary. After qualifying from our group, we won 2-1 in the semi-finals. Unfortunately, in the final we were beaten by the better team. We should be very proud of our 2nd place finish!

Well done boys!!

Year 5/6 swimming gala

On Thursday 18th January, 4 boys and 4 girls from Year 5 and 6 took on the challenge of the swimming gala at Edgehill University. They did us proud!! We were competing against 8 other schools and managed to finish in a respectable 4th place, but more importantly we all had a great time.

Year 3/4 football tournament

On Wednesday 6th December, 8 boys from Year 3 and 4 represented our school in a football tournament against other schools from St Helens.

The boys did magnificently and were able to win the tournament! In the final, penalties were needed to decide the winner and our boys held their nerve to win.

Well done boys! You showed great skill and an even better attitude.

Indoor Athletics

On Friday 3rd November, a selection of Year 5 and 6 boys and girls competed against a range of school from across St Helens in an indoor athletics tournament. The tournament included lots of different events such as: relay races, javelin, long jump, triple jump and more.

The children showed excellent determination throughout the morning and were a credit to our school. They competed magnificently and were able to win a number of different events throughout the day.

Overall, our school finished tied for 5th place. This was a very respectable result and the children should be very proud of themselves for their achievement.
