Welcome to the Reception Class! This is the beginning of an exciting journey filled with learning, discovery, and fun. The Reception year is a special time where children make new friends, explore new ideas, and develop important skills that will help them throughout their school life. It is also a crucial year in your child 's education journey, laying the foundation for their future learning and development.
During this year, children not only begin their academic journey, but also develop essential social skills, independence and a love of learning. We are dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for every child and are always ready to support, encourage, and guide children as they learn and grow.
Children learn best when they are engaged and having fun. Activities are designed to encourage exploration, problem-solving, and imagination. Each day includes a mix of group activities, independent play, story time, and outdoor exploration. Focusing on building confidence, independence, and social skills.
Regular updates will be shared about class activities, special events, and your child 's progress. We are excited to welcome all children and families to a wonderful year ahead and working in partnership with you. Together, let 's make this a happy and memorable start to school life!
