Cathedral Trip 2017, by Miss Bowen

Date: 28th Jun 2017 @ 5:02pm

On  Monday 19th June we visited the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool.

The children got to visit the vestry where they learnt about the special clothing worn in the cathedral and who would wear this.

They got to look at the range of new and old stained glass windows and learnt that the windows let in light, look beautiful and tell stories.

We also had a guided tour of the cathedral with a great guide called Steve. He made it really fun for us and helped us to learn lots of things about the amazing cathedral!

Not only that, but they got to cheer on four of their classmates as they became brave Swashbucklers trying to win back Gem's treasure from the naughty pirates. Well done to all the children who were fantastically behaved and a credit to our school.

A special well done to Annie, Layla, Rosie and Joe. You were brilliant. We can't wait to see you and all the children, who were in the audience, on CBeebies soon.
